Durham, NC – When a Durham man died alone in the bedroom of his home, the funeral home director suggested that the family call Aftermath to remediate the death scene. Following a short conversation, technicians arrived to investigate the situation. Immediately upon entering the home, the crew noticed a fetid and unpleasant odor.
Biological materials were limited to just the bedroom, but the smell of decomposition, coupled with animal feces and urine, was present throughout the residence.
