Aftermath Attends the 2017 National Sheriff’s Association Conference in Reno
Last week, Aftermath was privileged to visit the 2017 National Sheriff’s Association Annual Conference and Exhibition in Reno, Nevada. The conference was attended by over 1000 sheriffs, deputies and their families. Representing Aftermath were Stephen Brown, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales, and Rolando Barrientez, Senior Manager of Law Enforcement Relations.
One of the Best
The NSA Annual Conference and Exhibition is one of the largest of its kind. Vendors exhibit products and equipment relevant to every facet of police work. According to the conference website, “exhibitors contribute in large measure to the overall success of the conference.” The conference also features over 60 seminars and workshops covering all aspects of the duties and responsibilities for sheriffs’ offices, including jail operations, service of process, transportation of prisoners, and security.
“The Sheriff’s Association is one of our strongest conferences,” Stephen explained. “We are able to connect with Sheriff’s and Sheriff’s Office employees from throughout the US.” In addition to some great breakout sessions and workshops, conference goers were excited to hear from the guest speaker, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Great Interactions
“The show was well attended and we had great interactions. The reception was very positive and appreciative. We had many questions about our services. Conference attendees were glad to see that we’re a proud supporter of the NSA. Plenty of those we spoke with had already heard of us and are already in the habit of passing our information on to families they work with. Those who had used us in the past commented on the high quality of work that we do.”
The key message most attendees took away was about Aftermath’s response time. With locations in almost all major metropolitan areas nationwide, Aftermath prides itself on delivering top quality biohazard cleaning 24 hours a day, every day of the year. In most cases, a team of technicians can be on site in less than four hours. The company’s no obligation estimate and corporate ownership (no franchises or sub-contractors) also resonated well.
Winners All Around
While at the booth, Rolando and Stephen handed out water bottles, memo pads, air fresheners, and other items. Attendees were also able to enter a drawing for a tactical bag with PPE kit from 5.11 tactical. Jim Franklin of the Minnesota Sheriffs Association, was the winner.
When not at the conference, entertainment and recreational opportunities were plentiful. Many members went to the Rodeo on Friday night, and nearby Lake Tahoe offered all sorts of activities that attendees and their families enjoyed, from boating and biking, to hiking and water sports.
