Adjusters Learn About Cleanup at the PLRB Western Regional Conference

Last week, Client Services Team Lead, Travis Smith, and Stephen Brown, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales, attended the PLRB Western Regional Adjusters Conference. The event was hosted in Riverside, CA by PLRB, the Property and Liability Resource Bureau. According to the organization’s website, the purpose of PLRB is to promote ongoing education for insurance adjusters and others in the insurance industry. They also offer members products and services that encourage “productivity and efficiency in, the property and liability loss and claim adjustment processes of members and the industry as a whole.”

Attending PLRB West

Smaller than the National PLRB events, the Western Regional Conference allowed the team to speak one-on-one with attendees from California, Nevada, and other Western and Southwestern states. Many of the adjusters were drawn in by the “What’s Bugging You?” game featured at the booth. The mini-game asked participants to identify common germs to win colorful Giant Microbe plush toys.

The fun toys were not the only thing that captivated convention goers, however. “Many adjusters were surprised and very interested in what we do and the types of situations we encounter,” Travis said. While talking about the company’s services, Travis and Stephen also passed out air fresheners, pens, cups, and informational materials.

Though conference hours usually end at dinner time, PLRB members continued to enjoy each other’s company well into the evening as they gathered in the hotel lobby bar. In addition to networking, attendees were encouraged to explore the nearby area in off hours, including the beautiful parks and restaurant options.
