Check Presentation with Officer Marks of Minnetonka Police Department

This week, Aftermath’s Tina Bao, Stephen Brown, Genna Hines, &  Tony Cusinato travelled to Minnetonka, Minnesota to make a special delivery. They met with Minnetonka Police Chief, Scott Boerboom, and Officer Scott Marks to present a $1000 grant to the department’s mental health program.

Officer Marks was the 1st Runner Up in last month’s Why We Serve service grant competiton. His 4 minute video, produced as part of the contest, spoke about the mental health crisis facing Minnetonka and other communities. The grant will go toward creating an after-care and followup program for the local area. Officer Marks says he hopes the program will go on to spur similar efforts in other communities.

Read an interview with Officer Marks from last week’s blog.
