Aftermath was founded on the premise that we care about the communities where we live and work, that we are concerned about the safety of the people in those communities, and that assisting them goes beyond providing a service, and should include sharing our knowledge with those we help. This year, Aftermath intends to support these three pillars – community, safety, and education – with programs, outreach, and contests designed to further extend and reaffirm our commitment to the families we serve, in our own neighborhoods and all around the US.
In March, Aftermath focused on safety by sponsoring a PPE Giveaway for those who protect our communities each and every day. Law enforcement officials from around the country participated in the drawing, and 100 prizes were given away. Of the winners, five lucky departments received the grand prize, which includes a full PPE kit and a 5-11 tactical bag. Congratulations to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, Hayward Police Department, Southbridge Police Department, Butte County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of La Porte. Your service is appreciated!
This April, we turned the spotlight on education with our $1,500 Scholarship and Essay Contest. The contest is open to all those who are enrolled in or plan to attend an institute of higher learning, including certificate programs, 2 or 4 year colleges, or graduate degrees. All majors are eligible. For additional information and requirements, visit our Scholarship page.
Finally, during the months of May and June, we will turn our attention to community by launching our $2,500 Community Project and Charity Giveaway Project. All law enforcement officials, coroners, funeral directors, and community members are invited to enter. The prize will be given to one community group or organization of the winner’s choice. Additional details are forthcoming.
