Kansas Police Chiefs Meet for Spring Leadership Training
Today through Friday, we’re at the Grand Vu Lodge in Nissawa, Minnesota, supporting CANAM and the Minnesota State Association of Narcotics Investigators (MSANI). If you’re attending the show, please stop by our booth, say hello, and be sure to enter our drawing!
Tonight, we’re recapping another midwest show, held a few weeks ago in Kansas. The Kansas Association of Chiefs of Police held their annual Spring Leadership Training May 8th-11th. The event was held at the Overland Park Convention Center, in Overland, Kansas. Over 100 members of KACP attended. A vendor’s expo was featured as part of the events on May 9th. Visiting the show were Aftermath’s Jeremy Lemon and Senior Manager of Law Enforcement Relations, Mike Webster.
The KACP website describes the conference as a “dynamic multi-day training conference and trade show.” Events include training, vendor exhibits, member activities, and hospitality and networking events, including a golf tournament. The majority of attendees were command staff. Officers also assisted with event security, and were extremely personable.
The vendor’s floor was relatively quiet, though there was good conversation to be had. At the booth, Jeremy and Mike answered questions regarding travel time, office locations, and how Aftermath works with home owners insurance. There were also numerous giveaways; Officer Zach Anderson won a tactical bag from 5.11 Tactical, as well as PPE.
Aftermath is at Home in the Midwest
Aftermath is making the rounds this summer, visiting conferences on both coasts and close to home in the midwest. If you don’t catch us this week at CAN AM in Nisswa, you can read all about the show on our blog next week. Also keep an eye on Twitter to find out where our booth will turn up next!
