Networking at the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association Conference

Early this week, the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association (PCPA) gathered for their 104th Annual Education & Training Conference in Camp Hill, PA at the newly renovated Radisson Hotel. Over 150 chiefs and other law enforcement professionals took advantage of the opportunity to network and attend educational programs and training. Expo events were hosted near the vendor hall, encouraging participants to make use of the time between sessions. John Tyler of CSCU, and Tina Bao, Aftermath’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, represented the company.

“It was a great event, with a wonderful group of people,” John reported. “We received a lot of positive response from Chiefs who visited the booth.” Most of them recognized John, who is well-known to the Chiefs because of his work with CSCU; others were familiar with the Aftermath or CSCU brand name.  One officer even stopped by to personally thank John and Tina for recent work the company had performed at an area business.

“Our response time and reputation have made us industry leaders on the east coast and nationwide,” said John. “Even so, it’s a good feeling to be recognized for the work you do by people you respect.”

Excellent door prizes encouraged guests to hang around the vendor hall since they had to be present to win.  Those who didn’t come away with a prize still had plenty of luck with the vendors. Aftermath giveaways were a big hit with the attendees, and included air fresheners, water bottles, chapstick, and pens.

Tina and John also raffled off a few special prizes. Chief Mark O’Donnell with North Fayette Police Department won a 5.11 bail out bag and Captain Leon Crone (pictured) with Lower Allen Township Police Department won a set of PPE kit. McGruff the Crime Dog, mascot of the National Crime Prevention Council, even stopped by for a few candid photos with the team.
