Biohazard Cleaning Company Visits Police Conference

This week, Aftermath Representatives Tony Cuisanato (Law Enforcement Relations) and Stephen Brown (National Director of Business Development) braved the cold and northern snow to visit the 2016 WPLF Mid-Winter Training Conference, hosted by the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association. Fortunately, the event was hosted indoors, at the Kalahari Resort & Conference Center in the Wisconsin Dells. Stephen oversees the field sales and marketing efforts while Tony is responsible for law enforcement outreach to the Great Lakes region which includes Wisconsin.

Ultimately, the purpose behind attending the WCPA was to educate police on the Aftermath brand of services, and to demonstrate the company’s unwavering support for Wisconsin law enforcement. Tony and Stephen reported that the overall feel of the show was very positive. Many of the attending were Police Chiefs and other law enforcement personnel. They were not only curious about the cleanup business, but asked questions about our nearest service locations in the Twin Cities and Chicagoland area. Other attendees were already familiar with the Aftermath name, and approached Tony and Stephen to thank them for serving the community…and providing some pretty great magnets for their filing cabinets!

Despite the freezing temperatures, conference attendees were able to stay busy at local indoor waterparks and nearby restaurants. The conference also received a visit from a Barney Fife look-alike known as the Mayberry Deputy, portrayed by performer David Browning. Aftermath also raffled off a Kindle Fire, won by Chief John DuBois from the Spring Valley Police Department. “It was an honor for us to show our support for police departments throughout Wisconsin. We greatly appreciate the commitment and service that those in Law Enforcement make for the their citizens and that is why it was important for us to show our support as an exhibitor at this conference,” says Stephen.

Throughout the year, Aftermath participates in conferences and educational seminars designed to inform law enforcement personnel about our services and the importance of professional crime scene cleaning. We also find ways to support the law enforcement community, from our annual K9 Contest, to local community events, charity outings, and conferences like WCPA. We also sponsor a special LE interests Facebook, called Aftermath Cares.
