What is the Aftermath Why We Serve Grant?

We are surrounded by heroes – law enforcement officers and first responders who risk their lives to keep our communities safe. But that’s not all. These Local Heroes often go above and beyond the call of duty to further connect with their communities through worthwhile causes like mentoring kids, feeding the homeless, and other community-building initiatives.

Their generosity and accomplishments aren’t always noticed, but the Aftermath is bringing recognition to these Local Heroes through the Why We Serve Grant. This initiative is our way of showing appreciation for the officers and first responders who are making a significant difference in the communities they serve.

Who can apply?

• Law enforcement and first responders: tell us how you would use the grant to better serve a cause, community initiative, or charity.
• Local citizens, community members, and charitable organizations: nominate an officer or first responder and share with us how their generosity and commitment has made an impact in your community or organization.
