(Lombard, IL) – The owner of an apartment building in Lombard called Aftermath following a situation involving one of his tenants. Reportedly, the renter was ill, but when the landlord investigated further, he discovered the man had also been using heroin. The state of the room made it difficult to locate the dangerous needles, and there was also bio present on the floor and on the mattress. Technicians used utility knives to remove a small section of carpet and the affected area of the mattress and placed it in a biohazard bag. Additionally, bedding, clothing, towels, and pillows were discarded, and all sharps were retrieved and disposed of as medical waste.
