(Naperville, IL) – Crime scene cleanup is a complicated and painstaking process. For this reason, when a woman was found murdered in her Naperville home, her relatives decided to call the professionals at Aftermath. The tragic incident began in the mudroom and continued into the cellar below. Technicians found biomatter on the floor of the mudroom and on all eight of the wooden steps leading down to the cellar. Biomaterial was also observed on the electrical conduit and insulated electrical wires in the stairwell, just below the mudroom floor. There was also a pool of partially dried fluid on concrete cellar floor. During the cleanup, technicians also spotted drops of bio on the walls that encased the stairwell that had been previously concealed by the stairs. The crew cleaned and sanitized the affected areas with great attention to detail, in the hope that their work would help provide some comfort to the family during their time of need.
