(Cambridge, MA) – Recovering from a traumatic event such as an attempted suicide or personal injury is a complicated process. One Cambridge clinic decided to help their client by having his living space professionally remediated while he received treatment. A clinician met with the Aftermath team and gave them access to the unit for inspection.
Technicians found a large amount of biological fluid on the tile floors, walls, tub, vanity and toilet of the bathroom. There was pooling on the floor, and the ceramic tile would need to be removed along with the toilet. The supervisor contacted the property owner, who authorized Aftermath to remove the flooring and perform the structural work needed in order to remediate the bathroom. After getting help, the man was able to return to a clean, sanitary home, conducive to his healing and recovery.
