(Ann Arbor, MI) – When an Ann Arbor woman took her own life in the bedroom of her home, Aftermath was asked by the family to assist with the cleanup. Biological fluids were found on the carpet under the desk, as well as on the desk itself. More fluids were discovered on the closet doors, walls, and ceiling of the room. Using disposable towels, technicians wiped the affected closet doors, walls and ceiling until all bio was removed.
Next, using a utility knife, the crew cut out the affected carpet and padding and disposed of it into a bio box. The subfloor was then exposed, and the damaged parts extracted using a circular saw. Finally, a full three step biowash was performed to clean, disinfect and deodorize the room. In the end, Aftermath helped the grieving family by returning the home to a safe, sanitary state.
