Omaha, NE – When a couple was tragically murdered in their home in Omaha, Nebraska, law enforcement officials responded immediately to the crime scene. Following their investigation, they notified the next of kin and recommended that they speak to Aftermath to remediate the home. A grieving family member spoke to one of the caring operators at Aftermath, who dispatched a biohazard team to the residence.
On site, the team met with the family and examined the home. After consulting with the case manager, the supervisor recommended that a contaminated carpet be removed and disposed of, and a three-stage biowash be performed. The detailed biowash process ensures that a home is clean of all physical traces of the terrible event, prevents the growth of dangerous germs and bacteria, and removes lingering odors.
In this situation, technicians wiped down the foyer floor and stairway walls in a meticulous manner, then disinfected and deodorized the entire affected area.
