Huron, OH – 2012- According to researchers, every year since 1999, the number of families affected by suicide has risen. For one Huron, Ohio family, this statistic evolved into a tragic personal loss. Concerned relatives retained Aftermath’s services following the suicide of a family member. The decedent had taken his life in a small mud-room attached to the garage.
Upon entering the space, Aftermath technicians noted considerable bio matter on the ceiling, as well as on the wall above a shower stall area. Shelves containing a large amount of personal property were also affected by bio fluids. The exit doors to the mud-room served as the path of extraction for emergency personnel, so contamination to the rest of the property was minimal.
